Hi
ive booked a flight from toronto to san francisco with a connection at chicago.
I arrive in chicago at 3:30 and depart to san francisco at 430
Im trying to research this because american airlines call this a valid connection.
but surely this is pure nonsense?
Im still not 100 percent sure of what to do, but from what i can gather i....
go through immigration.
pick up my luggage
go through customs
drop my luggage off at the transfer belt
go through security
go to my gate
or...
i have to go through immigration
pick up my luggage
go through customs
transfer to the appropriate terminal
check my luggage back in to my next flight
then go through security
and reach my gate
In an hour....Surely this is madness? :(
One hour connection from toronto at O hara: Pure madness?
As I recall, the last time I flew back from Toronto, I went through U.S. customs at Toronto. When I arrived in the U.S., it was just like taking a domestic flight. I don%26#39;t think that there will be a problem making the connection.
BTW: It%26#39;s O%26#39;Hare.
One hour connection from toronto at O hara: Pure madness? The above post is correct. You%26#39;ll go through US customs and immigration inspection at Pearson before you board. Your flight will arrive at AA%26#39;s domestic terminal (Terminal 3) and you%26#39;ll simply need to walk down the concourse to your connecting gate.
oh really? :)
thats great news, i was really worrying about it. I just couldnt understand how they could do it.
Many thanks for the help :)
