Bellwood hotel street parking

Hello,

I called the hotel (Diversey Pwy bet. Lincoln and Ashland) and the person said the street parking should not be a problem. Can you pls confirm?

Is it a safe area for street parking or walking at night? Are there lots to do (bars/clubs/restraunts) there within walking distance? Where is the downtown area? Thank you.

Not sure about this hotel, but it%26#39;s in a great area, tons of bars and paces to eat nearby. Short bus ride to the brown line, which will take you downtown in 15-20 minutes.

I wouldn%26#39;t call street parking easy, but it should be doable. Your best bet would be on the residential streets off of Diversey. I would ask them if it%26#39;s street permit parking though. Seems like it would be. I live about 4 blocks from there and it%26#39;s permit by me.

Just checked the 32nd Ward website and the bulk of the area is not permit parking, so you should be OK, especially if arrive during the day when parking is much easier as people are off to work.

Make sure you have lots of quarters to feed the parking meters. Downtown is south of your hotel.

Hello, thank you for your answers. What is the hrs of meter in city of Chicago or Lincoln park and how about Sunday?

The hours of operation and rates for parking meters vary throughout the City. This information should be listed on each individual parking meter.
