We will be staying at the Blackstone Hotel right across from Grant Park at the end of May. Flying in from Ontario Canada and were not planning on renting a car. Can anyone give us an idea on what the best choice whould be to get to the museum - bus, train, cab etc. How far away is the museum from Grant Park?

How to get to Museum of Sciene and Industry
The #10 CTA Museum of Science and Industry bus runs weekends only at this time. However, after Memorial Day, it operates daily for the summer months (until Labor Day). You can pick it up at the same corner of Balbo %26amp; Michigan.
This is one of the most scenic bus routes in all of Chicago, especially when you are traveling northbound on Lake Shore Drive for your return.
