distance between terminals at O'Hare

I have a 30 minute connection at O%26#39;Hare. I land in Terminal 1 (United) and my next flight is in Terminal 2 (Air Canada). Would anyone know how long it would take me to 1. walk and 2. run from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2?

Well, what is your 100-meter dash time?

Seriously, it will take about ten minutes. Not a great chance for you, and no hope for your luggage, I%26#39;m afraid.

Well, both United and Air Canada are star alliance partners so at least they will have you on the computer and know your whereabouts. Also, when you check into your original United Flight, tell the ticket agent your 30 minute conection time and beg for a seat up front so you are off the plane quickly. And lastly, Ohare has such a bad on time record, your flight will probably not leave until hours later, so when you run as fast as you can to terminal 2, be prepared to then wait 3 hours until your flight does really leave.

If you happen to arrive at a B gate with United in T1, you should be able to make your connection. You won%26#39;t have to go through security in T2.

United and Air Canada are code share airlines. Assuming you have one reservation for both flights, United is responsible for getting you on a later flight.

There is also a shuttle bus from the C Concourse (Gate C9) in T1 to the E Concourse in T2 (near the Air Canada gates).
