You%26#39;ll have to take the bus, but Nookie%26#39;s across from Lincoln Park is maybe the best breakfast I%26#39;ve ever had. Plus, if it%26#39;s a pretty day, you can walk right over to the park and stroll around the free Lincoln Park Zoo!

THE best breakfast ever!!! -- Tempo at State and Chestnut! It%26#39;s about a 5-7 minute walk from John Hancock. It was recommended for us ladies by one of the wonderful staff at the waterworks%26#39; (castle building) travel centre. They are full of info and go that extra mile to help...have fun!

I second the Tempo. It was very good.

The Original Pancake House is close by. I haven%26#39;t been, but it is highly regarded.

Lastly, if you want something quick, try one of the Corner Bakery restaurants. They are quick, cheap, and have unbelievable blueberry muffins!
