Hotel for Bears Game/Getting to Soldier Field

Planning a Bears game trip for September. Looking for Hilton/Marriott type hotel near the stadium and museums.

Also can one walk easily to Soldier Field or is there a subway stop near the stadium?

A bus is your best bet to/from the game. Any hotel that%26#39;s on/near the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Ave)area will work. It%26#39;s walkable from the Chicago Hilton on Michigan Ave. There%26#39;s a trip planner function at www.transitchicago.com

Hotel for Bears Game/Getting to Soldier Field

Nearest subway stop is Roosevelt (see transitchicago.com for subway map). You can easily walk or hop on a bus from that stop.

And a nearby bar recommendation for pre- or post-game is Kroll%26#39;s

The Blackstone (Marriott) would also be walkable to Soldier Field but then a bit more removed from other tourism. Personally I%26#39;d not worry so much about being close to Soldier Field but rather focus on Mag Mile as suggested for proximity to more dining/entertainment, and then enjoy the short commute to stadium with other fans.

Hotels in the Loop would also be good choices - then public transportation to Soldiers Field.
