transit help..(pls!)Transfer to the Red Line at Jackson. You will want a Howard-bound train.
transit help..(pls!)If you have lots of luggage, take the blue line to Clark/Lake. There%26#39;s an elevator there. Take a cab from there to your hotel. There are no elevators or escalators at Grand.
From the Blue line, you could get off on Grand, and take the grand bus to Navy Pier, get off on State St. and walk a couple of blocks to your hotel. But if you have time, take it all the way to Navy Pier and it will whirl back to State St., except you will be a block closer. It may be more time consuming, but it is more scenic and may be informative.
Public transportation is pretty decent in Chicago, be sure to stop by the Vistor Center in Water Tower for more transit information.
Enjoy.
With lots of luggage, a CTA bus is not practical.
THANKS ALL..
I cant wait to share a beer with the natives at wrigleyville / wrigley field... and sample some of the world renowned pizza and hotdogs that the windy city has to offer...

With ';luggages, a cta bus is not practical?'; I beg to differ, but I guess that depends on how much luggage. Personally I%26#39;ve done it, from intl. trips too, w/ the wife, 2 big luggages, and then some. We keep r luggages near, and clear from others as possible. We are lso considerate of fellow riders as we get on and off. Tho%26#39; the inconveniences of the bus is worth noting; I%26#39;ve never had any problems.
Cheers.
