Coming to Chicago wed-sat

I am visiting Chicago and staying at Club Quarters on Adams. Could anyone give me a few ideas on restaurants and places to get drinks? I am 25 and like pubs%26amp; trendy places equally. Just looking for FUN!!!

Basically next door to your place is an English style pub called ';Elephany %26amp; Castle.'; There are several in the city. It is pretty popular with the after work crowd.

For something a little more busy after 7 or 8pm, try The Gage. It%26#39;s a ';gastropub'; which loosly translates into a high end pub. It%26#39;s near the corner of Randolph and Michigan. Walking, it would be maybe 10 minutes.

You can also take the Red Line north to the Grand or Chicago stops and walk along Michigan Ave. from there. You will find tons of trendy bars/clubs.

Check the dining listings at www.chicagoreader.com - you can search by location, cuisine, budget etc.

I really appreciate your advice..thanks so much!

Mercat for tapas. Great lively atmosphere, trendy. Not cheap. About seven blocks away.

Quartino, a short cab ride or take the bus north to Ontario. Italian small plates. Loud, fun, not too expensive.

The bar at frontera grill (the bartenders are very nice and you can get food too). Short cab ride or walk...it%26#39;s maybe 10 blocks, on Clark.

Andy%26#39;s for Jazz. Great jazz and you can eat there too.
