The husband and I are thinking of heading to Chi town over Mother%26#39;s day weekend.
My husband has never been to Chicago before. I haven%26#39;t been in years. I did a quick search to see about free museum days, but looks like there are none in the month of May. Am I correct?
We will only be staying three nights. So, wanted to do the museum, Navy Pier and some shopping.
That should be doable don%26#39;t you think? Any suggestions? Want to stay on the Miracle Mile, as we will not be renting a car.
Thanks Val

No free museum days in May?
Magnificent Mile (just an FYI)
Free admission to the art institute on thursday evenings, 5-8. The other musuems have ';free days%26#39; that are sporadic around the calendar--you would have to check the websites of the musuem%26#39;s you would be most interested in visiting. But at the end of the day, you may have to spend the $10 admission or so--well worth it considering it%26#39;s an all day fun extravaganza...or as long a day as you want it to be.
