Thinking of booking this hotel for July with the Travelzoo special. Mixed reviews so I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice? Appreciate any insight!
The special is $105 for a king suite which is a great rate for Chicago. Am I missing something?
Seneca Hotel
The reviews speak for themselves. It%26#39;s an older property with smallish rooms. Have you considered Hotwire or Priceline?
Seneca Hotel
Dave has it right. However, it is in a good location and surely not the worst place to stay. That is a very good rate, but check Expedia.com or other web sites.
ZB
If it%26#39;s cancellable, then no harm done. Other hotels will show July specials soon enough, and you may well find a better hotel for an equally good deal.
Also, seconding the recommendation to consider hotwire or priceline if you can live with a non-cancellable reservation.
I stayed there last year and I wrote one of the reviews you may have read.
This is not a good place.
The staff is rude
The rooms are not kept cleans they leave things in the fridge from the previous user
Room need to be refurbished
You might look at the Whitehall Hotel. (try hotels.com) Two blocks on the other side of Michigan Ave. The Seneca isn%26#39;t recommendable.
