Taste of Chicago

Thinking of going to Chicago for the TofC...?%26#39;s...Where would be a nice hotel moderate priced walking distance to the festival.. Is it a nice event? I%26#39;m a foodie Also want to take in a Cubs game if possible where to secure tics.and are there tours of Wrigley Field?

Taste of Chicago

Cubs Ticket and tour information - chicago.cubs.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=chc

';Moderate priced'; is different for everyone. Nearby hotels include: Palmer House Hilton, Hampton Inn Majestic, Hyatt Regency, Swissotel, Hard Rock, Hotel Burnham, Hotel Monaco, and Blackstone. You can read reviews in the Chicago Hotels section of this web site.

T of C is a nice event if you enjoy huge crowds walking around eating. IMO, the nice part is that you can sample all different types of food in one location. If you want to avoid the crowds, weekday afternoons are best.

Also one more question flying in from Phx which airport O%26#39;Hare or Midway?

Whichever has the best fare. Southwest flies to MDW. The airports are about equal distance to downtown.

Keep to the Loop/Downtown area for Taste of Chicago and easy access to the Red Line trains for Wrigley Field. They do run tours of Wrigley for $25 per person. Cubs.com has information on the tours.
