My 9-yr old nephew wants baseball cards for his birthday next week. Is there a good place downtown or in Chicago proper that sells them? I live in Old Town with easy access to buses and the Brown Line, and I%26#39;d prefer not to have to go out to the suburbs, if possible.
I want to get him more than just a pack or two, but I don%26#39;t want to go crazy getting him a lot of costly, rare, or vintage cards since he%26#39;s not really a collector. The cards can be Cubs or Sox, but it%26#39;s not a requirement.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Dave, I%26#39;ll check them out. I also found this place via Google:
CPS Sports
5 South Wabash
www.cpssports.com
Just wondering if you know anything about them...
I assume it%26#39;s a spin off of the store in the former Carson Pirie Scott store on State St. I%26#39;m not familiar with the store.
You%26#39;re right, the website did mention that they moved to the Wabash location when Carson Pirie Scott closed. I didn%26#39;t realize they used to be part of Carson, but that would explain the CPS in their name.
Thanks for replying.
