This may seem like an odd question, but I%26#39;m curious. I will be driving down from Milwaukee on Saturday and doing lunch in Greektown, then making a little trip down to Chinatown for a bakery stop. I will have my dog in with me, a 65-pound Vizsla. In terms of his safety, is it okay to leave him in the car? Do you think someone would steal him? I%26#39;m not worried about the weather, it%26#39;s supposed to be mild, so he%26#39;ll be fine in the car in that way.
We take him with us everywhere up here, and I%26#39;ve never been worried about his safety. I%26#39;m just being cautious, even though I know these neighborhoods in Chicago to be fairly safe.
Any advice is appreciated!
Dog in parked car in Chinatown/Greektown?I don%26#39;t think that it would be so much that the dog would be stolen as it would be that some ';do-gooder'; would ';rescue'; your dog from the car. Either way, I wouldn%26#39;t recommend it.
Dog in parked car in Chinatown/Greektown?If you%26#39;re in and out in under hour he%26#39;ll be fine. I bring my 110lb labradoodle w/ me everywhere... crack a window...not a big deal, people do it all the time... keep in mind though, Greektown has a lot of free valet so you%26#39;re not gonna wanna valet w/ a dog in the car ;)
